With the same 100% infrared technology that we perfected in the Patio FR, this beautiful grill features a handcrafted, contoured, double-walled hood. With a sleek and sophisticated design, these grills are made for entertaining!
TEC’s original Patio grill, introduced almost 40 years ago, was an overnight success for many reasons. Grilling enthusiasts went wild over the searing temperatures the grill could reach in mere minutes, and they loved the taste of the food. But most importantly, the Patio represented the first substantive technological development in a field that had seen little change since early humans began cooking with fire.
The grill market has evolved and changed dramatically in the intervening years. Today, there are dozens of companies manufacturing grills using the technology we developed back in 1978. But what hasn’t changed is our commitment to research and development, to improvement and innovation. We continue to improve what we have previously invented with new and better technology.
Last spring, we were proud to announce the newest generation of the amazing Patio grill – The Patio FR. Since it launched, it has taken over our grill sales! But a number of customers have been asking for a curved-hood style version of the new Patio grill, similar to our Sterling series. So we took the Sterling hood, and combined it with the Patio technology to come up with one beautiful grill!
The Sterling Patio cooks two to three times faster than your typical grill without drying out food. Since our patented grilling system eliminates all hot air, food retains up to 35% more of its natural juices. The Sterling Patio has a wide range of temperature controls, from low and slow (down to 200 degrees F) to hot and fast (up to 900 degrees F) to give you the most control over the cooking process. Because we all know that in the end, it’s really all about the food!
The Sterling Patio comes in several configurations: as a freestanding grill or as a built-in for your outdoor kitchen. It can also be configured with or without a cabinet. The 26” Sterling Patio can cook 16 hamburgers in 8-10 minutes, while the 44” Sterling Patio can cook 32 hamburgers in 8-10 minutes! And with our rapid preheat times, you can go from 0-900 degrees F in only 7 minutes with the grill on high.
And if you’re looking to diversify your grilling menu, our newest accessories are also offered for the Sterling Patio. Take advantage of the improved, low cooking temperature with the Infrared Smoker/Roaster for the juiciest, slow-cooked meat. Add the Infrared Pizza Oven Rack and Commercial-Style Griddle and there’s no need to ever turn on the stove again.
